Icon9 Where to buy fake strap (Blasphemy!)

While I am loving my WG Daytona on black strap I hate to scratch the buckle. I wish they made a SS buckle instead of the gold one. I'd like to use an aftermarket strap because this watch is my daily wearer and keep the original for a rainy day.

I also know that you can't put the strap version on a bracelet later, even if you shell out the $$ for a new bracelet. Does anyone make a good quality bracelet for this? I'd like a good copy with or without the crown on the buckle.

Just buy any 20mm strap? Is there an acceptable aftermarket strap (like a Nato for a sub)? Or is the thought just to horrible to imagine?

I seriously doubt anyone will give you a lead on a true fake. That is frowned upon here. We deal in authentic stuff here.

As to where to buy a nice aftermarket strap, I'm sure many will come along with suggestions.

You could try here, look in the bands and straps section.

There are a lot of places online. Just search for Rolex bracelets in a search engine.

I thought it best to call it what it was rather than dance around it.

Obviously you can find such things on ebay, I was hoping someone might suggest some good quality aftermarket items. Too much pure junk out there.

Just wear it and when it needs a polishing, get it polished up. I would never put anything "fake" on my wrist, it is best not to support the individuals that produce counterfeit products. My daily beater/work watch is a Timex Ironman, and I am proud to wear it.

25K for a watch and then you want to put it on a fake strap. What is wrong with this picture?

Actually you can put the WG/YG strapped Daytona on a bracelet.....

You simply take off the bezel and remove the strap extension insert, then put the bezel back on. The bezel covers the machined area where the strap extension sits... What you cannot do is put the extension on a non-strap watch.

But, getting back to your issue. Putting on an aftermarket strap is simple, and it is not "fake" anything, unless you actually buy one with the Rolex markings that are counterfeit.

Any 20mm strap with a quality deployant clasp will fit. Try The Watch Prince

Whether you want to do that is entirely up to you....

Why don't you try putting some clear vinyl/automotive clear bra on your clasp so you don't scratch it? I've put it on my clasps and you can't even tell its there.

I may try the clear decal trick. I guess I'm just too anal about scratches. The metal is pretty thin and I know in ten years I will polish right through it!

I agree about not supporting faux products but I was looking for a high quality source. I'll check the links provided. Thanks.

come on gentlemen. . .wear the watch and enjoy it! dont let it wear you. the only way to avoid scratches is to not wear the watch at all. then whats the sense of spending so much money on a rolex in the first place? thats just my humble opinion.
