Blue lumins is generally for newer watches for example the ceramic face watches. But my Daytona is a G serial but lights green. Milgauss white face lights up both green and blue. Sorry for the late reply

If I charge mine up with a flashlight before i go to sleep say 11pm, I can still see it clearly enough to read at 5am, with your eyes adjusted to the dark you can see it well all night.
