I'm pretty OCD but I couldn't get myself bent out of shape with my bezel being misaligned by that much, all of, what, one eighth of a second, max?

And a recent issue is date magnification too.

Hope the OP's issue is resolved!

I recently bought an LVc 2/3 weeks ago and I went into the store with 2 things in mind to check, the alignment of the bezel and the magnification, as I had known of the magnification issue from other owners.

When inspecting the watch I noticed that the magnification was not right, it was maybe x2 times, instead of the x2.5 times that they advertise. Not very easily noticeable on it's own, but clear when held next to another watch.
I still went ahead and bought the watch because the magnification issue is barely noticeable and still looks great. When a previous poster showed a zoomed in photo of his I stated that I couldn't live with that. Having seen it in person, actually I could and bought it anyway.
However, if the bezel didn't line up I would not have bought it.
I guess it just all comes down to what will actually bother you and affect your enjoyment of the piece.

Half a whisker with my old eyes but I am 100% certain a blind man would be over the moon if he could see it.

So, after all that and thanks for all your comments, it's for sale. I need to bend myself back in to shape...

Any suggestions for the best outlet anyone? I'm usually an ebayer but never sold something if this value before?

For me, a transaction like that with a stranger would need to be done through an escrow service. The $150 or so fee for an $8000 +/- transaction is well worth the peace of mind that the money is being held and guaranteed by a neutral third party.

That being said, I have only ever sold 2 of my watches and they were both to a very close friend whom I trusted 100% and I took a personal check. Even still, I called the bank it was written from to verify funds before I made the deposit. Hopefully someone with much more experience will be along soon to share their usual method of transaction.

This is my thoughts and I would say that is within tolerance as it is a moving part with a certain amount of play, however if the OP is correct and this is after he's tried to align it to the 12 o'clock and having experienced how easily the ceramic bezels turn and the typical sitting point is the first pic then I'm going to back track and say I wouldn't be happy with that!

I think this is the longest arrow alignment in our history of alignment threads, and there have been a few.
