BTW, I read somewhere that compass stuff doesnt work in southern hemisphere.

LMAO!! Okay then snatch it up mate!!

The compass thing does work in the Southern Hemisphere it just points you due south instead of north. I think!!

Yeah North is South... Tell me why they don't they reverse polar end so it would work properly in the Southern Hemisphere?? BTW that compass is it free moving (floating)? dumb question I know but then why would it be on the protected under side of the crystal and what would be it's use if not.

Great value for the money watches Seiko, have several myself. There dials are superb
and better finished, that some watches, costing 10 times there price.
