If you do buy brand new I would not worry about the serial. People make such a big stink over serial numbers for nothing. Thanks for the insight. I'm primarily thinking about my enjoyment vs resale and since I'm 38 and haven't had a watch in 15 yrs, want to buy something new. FWIW, I'm getting the watch for $11.9K from an AD.
