Rolex wipe cloth: Does it also polish?

Hi folks,

Got a question about the little wipe cloth that used to accompany non-ceramic rolex watches. see pic..

Does it have some polishing properties also, or is it as worthless as the cloth from which 3 for $10 t-shirts are made?

thank you

Very true -- it does a way way better job than tissue paper or using a rag or towel.
There is something about it -- the way it rubs on the watch, it feels really good to clean the watch with it.

Its just like most other bits of cloth or T-shirt material and just like a pack of $10 T-shirts not the best quality. Most any clean microfiber cloth will do as good or better job if you must polish.

Unless it is on a strap, I found rubbing it with liquid hand soap with just my fingers and drying it with a good towel works wonder.
