It's a rock solid type of coral and has no soft tissue. But it surely looks weird.

I did placed the watch "only" next to the soft corals. Not sure if the rock solid type is alive or just a rock. If I did harm them in anyway....my bad....

No worries, but the hard coral formations are just as alive as the soft corals and just brushing up against the coral will kill it and it takes MANY YEARS to regenerate. I love the underwater shots

how deep did it get to?
at least we now know that it IS indeed safe to wear it underwater as much as it is safe to have it in for flight...
The deepest was about 10 feet . I was only snorkeling, not diving with tank.

Great pics, I would not wear my BLNR underwater but BLNR is very handsome underwater as it is in flight
