RSC choices in the USA

In the USA there are 3 official services choice in the USA. According to the official rolex web page. LA, NY, Dallas

Either one I have to send it in. Is there one that was particular better. Years ago when I asked this question on the web the answer I got was LA or NY don't do Dallas. But that was just a few person who answer my thread.

I took it to LA because I just happen be visiting LA and had the watch sent back and I was happy (my first and only service).

Is there some sort of consensuses (word on the street, survey) that said one service center better than another.

thanks

The consensus on the TRF street is probably to send it to an independent, like Rikki or Vanessa or any number of other qualified watchmakers.

Personally, I live in NYC so it's really easy for me to just drop off and pick up my watches at the RSC here on 5th Ave. Sorry I don't have any experience with the other service centers, but the one here in NY has always been great for me.

I've had better care for my watch from an independent, than from the authorized service center here in Chicago. I don't know if it was the one employee or the attitude of the company but i didn't care for them. The work of Jean Claude Roy has been fantastic. My family and friends agree.

Same here. I never had an issue with RSC NY, although people say they prefer Dallas.

For what its worth I took my Sky to L.A. recently and they had to forward it to Dallas for the "heavy lifting". They told me Dallas is better equipped to deal with the newer movement.

So have I.

No problems with Dallas but NY that's a whole different story.

Warranty work? RSC Dallas. Poor experiences from NY.

Out of warranty? Independent (Rik D, Vanessa)

I've had work done by the San Francisco RSC.

They are independently owned - Vs Rolex owned. Really the only difference.

Stellar service and nice people to boot. Recently had a Sub serviced.

If you are sending it in for service under warranty, send it to Dallas RSC. Avoid the Beverly Hills RSC. Depending on the watch they may end up having to send it to Dallas for service anyway. My personal experience with the Beverly Hills RSC is not good. My experience with Dallas RSC is great. I do not have any experience with NY RSC. If you are outside Rolex warranty send the watch to an independent.
