The Hulk production quota ?

Does Rolex produce the same number of 116610 LN vs LV ?

If not, any idea how many percent of all subC produced (not counting TTs) are hulk?

I always thought there are less 116610 LV produced as opposed to LN, am I wrong?

This is likely. However, Rolex has never released any production data so everything is just a guess.

Some people claim a 1/10 ratio, but I think that they are full of baloney and cannot back-up such statement..

Based on my own experiences with seeing what has been displayed at AD's and my discussions with them regarding the availability between the LN and the LV, it is a safe assumption your statement is correct.

My AD contact said they are not informed of actual production numbers, but they do consistently receive 116610 LN's with their monthly shipments, but is hit and miss with the 116610 LV's. He recalls that he sees probably 3 to 4 116610 LV's in prior year's. He only received 2 in 2014.

I would say 1 to 10, but it's a total guess.

Fewer Hulks than the standard LN. Hopefully the rumors are true that production is ending. That will support values in the future.

I doubt it will happen. The Hulk is still immensely popular and is one of Rolex' current best-selling models, it generates a lot of revenue for them. Maybe they will cut down production numbers to bring up exclusivity but to stop production is just not a good business decision.

You can ask 20 different ADs and get 20 different answers.
Only Rolex will ever know, it's like that and that's the way it is.

From what I see in the wild, the 1:10 ratio sounds about right.

The ADs will only be able to tell you their perception based on their sales numbers because that's what influences their restocking from RUSA so each will be different.

there are many many many out there so even if the production run is "just" 5 years its not limited in any way. Would love to have one!

I don't have the hard facts (as noone except Rolex has), but I think it must be at least 1:10. I think for most of the casual watch buyers it's a lot like a car painted in yellow or green. It looks unique, fun and interesting, but at the end of the day, when you have to vote with your credit card, most guys will pick the obvious and safe choice of black (LN).

Seen a video on youtube where they said Rolex makes 1 Hulk for every 4 Black LN's. Surely this is probably all speculation. Rolex will never tell.
