But you decide what you want done, and agree it together - your property, his/her expertise. And, no, replacing a mainspring would not devalue the watch, but enhance it. if it needs parts as part of the service, then that's what you agree together. I wouldn't change 'visible' parts though, such as dial, hands, bezel insert etc. because that will devalue the piece. |
