Each to their own, its your watch to do what you like. Remember the only possible negativity you'd ever get is off some forum members who you never actually see and dont actually know in the real world. When you wear a Rolex DLC coated watch 'In The Wild' it will turn heads and be very impressive.

I like it personally, In fact im waiting for my White Gold Daytona 116509 to come back from Titan Black with the bezel (Bezel only) DLC coated high gloss black with the engravings ceramic painted in Silver (to match the white gold) all to resemble the new ceramic bezels. The Existing bezel non coated is beautiful when new, but its a scratch magnet and the black paint does come off the white gold bezels.

I agree... Ceramic Tudor is far more preferable to a non-OEM DLCed Daytona

I personally don't like the thought of doing this to a Rolex, but obviously people like the look and buy them. What really is confusing to me is why would someone coat a precious metal with matte finish? I've seen plenty on Instagram and think that it is sacrilegious to cover up the beautiful look of polished or brushed gold in any color. But as said many times here to each his own, your money your choice.

Thanks for the opinion guys! I feel like even though the DLC Daytona is a great looking watch, I should stick to buying the Ceramic Tudor instead since It wouldn't be original to Rolex anymore. I tried both Omega and the Tudor at the AD today but I actually did not really like the look of Omega Dark Side of the Moon. I think the tudor would be the way to go. Thanks again for the great advise guys!

No. Unless you don't mind a watch that will tank in value once/if you decide to sell. Keep as original.

It may look cool but I would not have it done in any original Rolex watch. It would also drastically affect the resale value and it's not for everyone.
