Arnaud, maybe the 5167r is lighter than the subc but I'm sure it weighs closer to that than your 5712, the 5712r felt similar to my subc I remember and much heavier than the 5164.
I just weighed my 5712 and it shows 115 grams, not a very precise scale but I guess it's more or less that, as I remember my sub C was 147 grams once fitted to my size. It's strange because when I tried on the 5167R it seemed to be very lightweight, the feeling was closer to the 5712 than to a sub, but I just tried it on 20 seconds my real interest being at the time the 5712, they didn't have the SS version, just the WG one, and same there I felt it was rather light...

In your case I would pick the old model 14060M.
Awesome to wear!

14060M plus nato (if you want real feather weight) or classic 36mm Explorer (more refined and balanced than the 39, IMHO).

The Explorer is a very comfortable watch. You mentioned earlier that you like to forget you're wearing a watch and I think the Explorer does this. It's quite light and the fit is very comfortable, so much so that when I swap between the Explorer and black Bay it's a huge difference! Quite an understated piece too. Very subtle. Anyway, that's my 2cents.

Explorer 1 less obtrusive when travelling abroad and still has a oyster case so still fully waterproof
