FSOT: Vintage Tudor Submariner 7016/0; Ghost Bezel, Recent Service - Further Reduced
I've decided to put up for sale or trade my Tudor sub. I recently bought a home and had to sell off most of my collection. Dropping down to a single daily, I want it to be something more modern. I purchased this watch off a TRF seller earlier this year. Not long after, I sent it to Time Care Inc. to have the movement overhauled. The service was completed using all NOS parts as replacements. It now winds butter smooth and runs great. I received it back in Dec.
The watch is in good shape. I didn't have any cosmetic work done during the service so the case does have marks but nothing out of the ordinary for a watch of this age. The pics make it seem worse than it is. The dial/hands have a beautiful patina...the bezel insert is one of the nicest I've seen. It really needs to be seen in person. I do not know the history of the watch prior to my ownership. The SN and Ref # are faded but visible between the lugs. Also worth noting is that the watch was not tested for water resistance. Gaskets were replaced but I make no claim that it is water proof/resistant to any depth. Included will be the watch as pictured on a Hodinkee nato strap and the invoice from Time Care Inc. Price further reduced to $3850 shipped (CONUS only). I feel this is very fair considering the service it went through. I reserve the right to choose the buyer. Lowball offers will be kindly ignored. Please PM me with any questions. I've bought and sold many watches on various forums including this one. |
