Send them back to be discarded. If they are Centurion cards this would be extremely easy. Just call the number on the back.

I googled it and apparently, Chase can send you an envelope for you to send it back for destruction but my bank doesn't offer that.
Other people are starving and you see this as a problem.........

Eh, this is a forum where we talk about watches that are priced not too far from the average annual salary for an individual in North America.

Obviously you do not understand why I posted my comment. If I have to explain it to you, just in case you couldn't work out what I said was exactly the same in a sarcastic and ironic manner.

For the OP, the fact that he could not destroy his metal card, was a first world problem.... Meaning of my comment..
"do we give a ***k"? As this is a watch forum...

Haven't had any issues cutting the metal chase sapphire preferred card with normal scissors.

The only issue I have is the metal cards don't seem to read properly in parking meters in Southern California. I have 2 metal chase cards and neither one of them would read on different meters (mammoth mountain, Newport Beach, San Diego) while the plastic chase freedom card would read first try.

Burry it in the garden, rust will take care of the rest.

Lots of interesting responses.

This card is stainless steel so burying it won't work. I tried using utility sheers and it didn't work. I'm actually very surprised with the strength of these things. Bending them by hand is nearly impossible

After speaking wiht a couple people at Barclays, they finally came up with an address of a place that disposes of them.

Couple swipes of sandpaper across the numbers and the mag strip should render it useless.

Well if you're looking for another creative way you could use a road flare as well to melt through the card. It'll burn right through the stainless steel, just put the card against the burning end of the flare and don't ask me how I know these things. Post pics when you're done.
