Thanks to everyone who had such great suggestions for San Antonio. My wife and I had a great time in spite of the crappy weather. We stayed at the historic Menger Hotel. Had dinner at Bohanon's, Biga on the Banks, Little Rhien, and Paloma Blanca. All were very good. Had Sunday brunch at a great place called Feast. I would recommend that as well. Spent a good bit of time at the Riverwalk. Also walked through the La Villita historic village, the park at the tower of the America's, and spent half a day at the Alamo.

We had really nice time. Looks like they are really making an effort to revitalize parts of the city.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. They were great.
