Icon1 Just a follow up interview on some Tudor Q's since the new intros...

just a follow up link with some explanations from Tudor's creative director. it sheds some light on the direction of the calibre design and aesthetic results.

it basically says (very basically because remember, i lazy at this) the following (no laughs please)...

- tudor didn't go fancy on the decorating of the calibre to save costs and still offer a COSC at the same price as the ETA. sandblasting instead of cotes de genve etc...

- tudor's main goal is to be self sufficient and independent from rolex

- the NF and Pelagos are unique to themselves to appeal to broader markets

- we should see a tudor in-house chrono to replace the Dubois Depraz as the whole model range goes in-house.

- pelagos and NF are coming very quickly to stores

- 70hr power reserve is for the weekend rest test when folks may not wear a watch but want it on monday after friday.
