I found that it would be a Ref: 7965 with ETA caliber 2461 movement.
Can someone share more details on this particular caliber and may be an estimated value

Real but sure is beat up. Looks like someone didn't know it was screw down case back and tried to pry it off.

Yeah, in excellent condition it might fetch $700. In its current shape, probably not worth much.

Lugs look like knives! Heavily polished at some point. I'm guessing it was made in the early to mid 60s as I believe the rose was replaced with the shield in the late 60s. Probably not worth much, but still kind of cool.

It's had the hammer and chisel treatment on the caseback. See those deep gashes? It happens when someone removes the back by whacking a chisel into it anti-clockwise to 'screw' it off. Kind of cool if it works but worth very little and I'd doubt it's still waterproof.

Someone did not have a Rolex case opener, so the cut two notches on the back so they could use a conventional opener.
I have seen that before.

That makes sense. I've learnt something new, I too have seen similar marks. Wouldn't like someone doing that to my watches.
