Shopping woes...

I'm not much of a talker on the forum, but have been hanging around for a while. I really enjoy the love for fine watches and the endless information, now I'm looking for a little guidance. I've had several watches in the last 18 years several tags, 16013, 18038, 16613, 16623 as I've been able to buy/trade somewhat locally but have traded or sold a couple, now I'd like to replace and have been looking for a few different models. I've looked around but haven't been successful. I'm looking for a fair price, but also somewhat leery of buying on ebay have looked at the classifieds on here and feel very confident but still unfamiliar and as I said leery... I'm going to post a ltb ad in the classifieds just thought I'd ask for some input/advice outside of that section. Thanks in advance guys great Forum!

Welcome to the forum! There are many trusted sellers here, and also reviews (who is who section). Enjoy the hunt and please share pics when you get your timepiece(s)!

I just purchased a brand new Submariner from the for sale forum.

I was very concerned with the transaction. But the number one rule is to deal with a trusted person who has a history. The memeber who I purchased from was AMAZING. You will see the same names pop up and you'll find out who is someone that people love to deal with.

The memeber who I delt with was willing to talk on the phone, give me his personal info, and was in contact with me each step of the way. That is the type of person you want.

Good luck sir.
