Just been shopping in Edinburgh and I was surprised to see an SD in Watches of Switzerland on Princes Street for £3.2K. It was lovely! The thought crossed my mind, "Hmm I could buy that." Then reality took hold and I had to walk on by....

Other spots of the day were an LV Sub, many Daytonas, several Sub ND but no Sub Dates.

Any discontinued Rolex sport model watches...are worthy of your investment....besides they are very very desirable.

If you think the current SD is costly...wait till you see the price of the new SDDS...aka Deep Sea...which could be USD9K++.
Err buddy Orchi...I already decide one between 'em. And not thinking to buy the other. Thanks Buddy Orchi...

Oh no. It's started already. The moment the SD is announced as being discontinued people are asking if they should buy 3 or even not wear the one they have at all. We are meant to be watch fans aren't we? Doesn't that mean not stocking up on discontinued watches to sell at a profit later and so letting others who might not already own one have a chance. And doesn't it also mean wearing them and not letting them collect dust in a safe?
Maybe I'm wrong. Probably am. Just seems kinda sad to me.

In the Seattle area, every AD has a SD sitting in the case. Didn't ask if they were being discounted.

I was told by Rolex Australia YESTERDAY, that they were informed by Geneva that the SD would be in production until June 2008, then discontinued.

So, I still have time!!! lol!!!
No, I think SD is not my thing. I like the model, but I decide to erase it from my list.
Only two more Rolex in my list, Sub tt Bluesy and Sub SS Ceramic if someday they make it.
