Nato watch opinion?
In the past on both my 116610LN and 114060 I've found myself swapping between bracelet and nato, actually I find the bigger lugs suits the nato look quite well.
Now both have been flipped and I have my ideal diver on bracelet the 116600 but I'd like a watch on nato as a permanent addition, I don't like the term beater but it will be my go to causal watch which I won't shy away from wearing for pretty much everything. I've narrowed it down to these two now I know there is quite a price difference but I would sell on the 97200 bracelet which evens out the price difference Also on a side note I'm not fussed by either version but do you think when the in house movement housed Pelagos are available will this push up or down the ETA versions? Options are 1) 114060 (selling on the bracelet) 2) Pelagos black dial |

Although the Pelagos is awesome I think the 114060 will be better on a Nato.

A titanium watch on NATO sounds incredibly comfortable.

I feel 14060 looks great on Nato, not so much 114060. In the above two options, would prefer Pelagos.

Nato watch opinion?
Here is my Pelagos on a khaki green/PVD NATO. I really liked this watch but just sent it off towards an 114060. The Pelagos is really best on the Ti bracelet, although quit light it does ride noticably higher than the Sub. I would have kept it if I could afford to, but I just couldn't get the no date sub out of my head.
This is a pic from the interwebs... |

I'm actually considering having ABC add lug holes to my incomming 114060. They'll come in very handy since I change my straps alot.

I voted 114060, both look great in the photos though. Might have to try mine on a nato.

Nato watch opinion?
I have a 1968 Sub with them too, but I like the new features of the SubC for daily wear.

Same dilemma on whether to put mine on Nato. Here are some pics I found for my "library" helping me decide... I like.
ps. one of them is a 14060. You can also see Pelagos on Nato on 3rd pic, imho it looks glorious. Even steven really.

I think the 114060 looks too square on a NATO. I like my Pelagos on a NATO when I'm not using the bracelet:

Great pics guys, does anyone have a lug on pic of a Pelagos on nato? Seen a few of the BB and it appears the lug holes on that are quite low and forward which when fitted with a nato expose a lot of the case between the lugs.

Unfortunately the Pelagos suffers the same issue as the BB:

Do reconsider this decision. I think spending a little on a proper tool goes a longer way than to have lug holes drilled into the supercase.

Nato watch opinion?
I have the proper tools, it's still a pain compared to my lughole Sub. But I'm lazy and probably won't just cause I'd hate to be without the watch for a week.
BTW anyone have a source for proper size springbar tips, I've been grinding down the standard 2.5mm ones. |

Although I prefer the 114060, I'd get the Pelagos since you have the 116600.

Tried the Pelagos on today, only the third time I've checked it out but this time had them bring it out on the bracelet and on the rubber strap and sent quite some time comparing it to my 116600!
Well don't know why but it actually grow on me more then I thought, I had in my mind it was a lot chunkier then the SD but they were similar guessing since I had previously been comparing it to my 114060 but now after getting used to the SD it does seem such a step up size wise. Now I'm not sure if I'll put it on nato at all, the bracelet differs enough to the oyster and the rubber strap looks good. I could see this becoming my go to watch. I've always been a dive watch fan as you can see but my flips, my Daytona is currently up for sale as it gets no wrist time. I'm now thinking this would be a nice diver collection 116600 on bracelet Pelagos in bracelet and rubber 114060 on nato Hmmm decisions decisions Oh and they tried the old line Rolex's with a short production run always shoot up in value and as Tudor are from the same camp these will be highly sort after in years to come, maybe even worth a premium! Also they quoted the inhouse model to be ~£400 up from the ETA does anyone have the actual pricing yet on the new version? |

The Explorer 1 is the best nato watch!
However the Submariner is a close second

Still no closer to my purchase!
Back into my local AD and out came the Pelagos and 114060, my my choice is getting harder.. I know I wanted a watch to live on nato but can't help thinking the bracelet and rubber options with the Pelagos will be a bonus in the future. How does the Pelagos hold up given its Ti against dents and scratches compared to SS? |

Chunky lugged 114060 is well suited on a nato.
