opinions on 1964 1675
Hi All,
I saw this watch being sold 3 towns over from me and wanted to hear your opinions on it. Seller says it is all original to their knowledge but wanted to check with the experts here on their opinions. As always, I'm appreciative to any and all feedback. Cheers, Mike |

Better photos would help for a clear evaluation, especially some case photos and dial photos without the hands obstructing anything on the dial. From what I see, one or two hands have been replaced and along with the bezel insert. Very minor and really not much of a factor in pricing the watch. I see it also wears a Mexican Jubilee bracelet which you don't see very often outside of Mexico.

Pictures of dial. There does seem to be a chip above the date window. How does this affect the value?

I have nothing additional to add except that any potential buyer should get on the phone and discuss the watch with the seller. In response to the op's concern about a chipped dial, there is a lot more going on with that dial besides one chip. If this is your first foray with vintage, I'd spend more time researching the watches, prices and nuances for the model you are looking to purchase. Finding a nice gilt GMT is not an easy task. Check with greekbum here on the forum. He has a gilt GMT listed at this time.

This has many issues, but the dirty lume plots would bother me more than anything...not much you can do about it and it really detracts from the look. Personally I wouldn't look twice at this.

As previously mentioned I would be asking for far more pictures.
The dial is of concern too. Looks original but looks like it may have deterioration due to moisture and age most likely. ( my opinion) Let's see the Crown guards and the serial number in between the lugs too if possible. Movement appears to be a 1560/5 with the butterfly rotor. That's good. Price plays a big factor here as it has potential

This is overpriced- I love a beaten tool watch- especially a GMT with small hand but this is a bit crazy.
