Explorer thoughts

Hi guys

I have seen this 1972 Rolex Explorer, what do people think of it? Would really appreciate feedback- have a feeling dial is either service or has been redone. But if am wrong may pull the trigger.

Overly polished case and bracelet with some stretch. What do they want? I actually like the patina.

With a Swiss only bottom of dial watch should be pre 1960, after 1960 would have the Tritium markings T SWISS T or 25>Swiss depending on Tritium strength what is the model reference.

Definitely a redial, and for $2500, I doubt it's a 1016 case, likely a 1002 or 5500
