Welcome to TRF, "k123e2001"!

Another member asked pretty much the same thing. Here's my take on it:

Getting a discount depends on the size of the AD outlet, what model you want to buy, if he has more than one of the same model in stock, your negotiatian skills and last but not least the payment method (cash seems to help).

Most sport's Rolex watches in SS would not be discounted, at all.

If you want a Rolex in TT (steel and gold), the AD's make more profit on those, so you should be able to get 15 %+ discount.

If you desire a Rolex in precious metal (all gold or even Platinum), perhaps with a diamond dial, you're looking at discounts of typically 20 %+.

Best of luck!

BTW.: if you like, you can add your first name in the username field buy going to "USER CP" and choose "Edit Your Profile". This will give you a more personal experience when we are addressing you.

Ever wonder if these threads are made by RUSA people looking for AD's who don't adhere to their pricing policies? Not to pick on you, k123e2001, but I can't tell you how many new TRF members make a thread like this and are never seen again. I'm sure most are just out there shopping for the best deal, but I'm suspicious that some of them work for the Crown.

David, once a cop, always a cop! Inquiring minds do want to know. When your kids get older -- boy, won't they be in for a surprise.

I don't have a daughter yet, but if/when I do, I already have it planned out for her "first dates" with boys. Forget the cliche of cleaning the guns when he comes over to pick her up:

Hi, you must be "Tommy." Come on in! She'll be down in a minute. Where are you going tonight?

Great, before you kids shove off, do you have a license? Can I see it? I'll be right back (Go make a color photocopy of it and come back with the license and photocopy, and a fingerprint pad.

Can I borrow your hand for a minute (quickly fingerprint his hand) - now the other. Great, here's your license back. You can wash up there at the sink.

Get her home by 9:30, okay? Have a great time!

It's best to keep 'em guessing!
