Have developed a Tudor itch, thanks to TRF and Adam. I drove to the AD in Scottsdale AZ. What a great line of watches. I'm sure there is a Heritage Ranger in my future. The AD was outstanding and while leaving he handed me a large gift bag and thanked me for coming in. It must have weighed 10lbs. Got home and found all kind of goodies, but the standout has to be the 2015 Tudor catalog. Over 200 pages of history, specs and wonderful photography. One of the best marketing pieces I've ever seen. It made the hard covered Rolex catalog he gave me seem underwhelming.

Only one Rolex reference, when talking about Hans Wilsdorf and again when listing their service network.

Personally, I think Tudor seem to do the advertising, website, Boxes and watch styling all much better than Rolex does.
Rolex could do well to look at what Tudor does these days.

I was given that catalogue too! I loved it apart from the fast rider black shield pages, you can barely see it! The history part at the start was enjoyable too

The sales collateral for each brand, and also the websites, are designed for the targeted buyers. Within the catalog, messaging is further tailored by model based upon persuasive cues to move the reader into action - namely buying one.

I must have one of the brains that likes Rolex better since I prefer their website to the Tudor one.

Smart move by the AD since they are in competition with other retail sites as well as brands.

Does Rolex still own Tudor? Or are they separate companies now. Just curious, if anyone knows. Adam, you are the Tudor expert. Any thoughts.

I'm not the expert, but Tudor and Rolex are still as closely related as they ever were, as far as I know....same family, different brands.
