White gold all day . . . vintage has no appeal for me.

Vintage. Whilst I love the new WG version (and ceramic bezel), I really hate the idea of ever scratching one or its bracelet! All the look of SS at four times the price, plus paranoia galore. I also prefer the older lug profiles.

YMMV

Vintage all the way, baby!

I agree that the new models have a lot of modern improvements, but look and feeling of a vintage watch cannot be beat.

I really like the look of the WG and host would be my choice if I could buy it.

I love vintage, but would take the WG watch, if anyone has tried it on and seen it in the flesh they'll understand.

It's not a cool answer to go for the new one! But in real life they're pretty cool!

WG one is much better for me not because of WG itself but because of its ceramic bezel with two vivid colors that never fade.
