The Rolex "Triple Six" - ...a Super Collectible Sport watch !!

This 16660 is a transitional watch from Rolex - ca. 1984
The new case, sapphire crystal, larger helium valve meant that the new watch
could be taken to depths up to an incredible 4000 feet or 1220 meters.

There is also a new movement inside this case, the Ca: 3035 which replaced
the Cal.1575 in the previous 1665 Sea-Dweller model.

It is in Excellent Original Condition - Recently cleaned and lightly polished
Keeps good time - but I have not checked for atomic clock precision !

Sea Dweller Ref: 16660, Serial 8.429.xxx - Movement is the automatic
winding Rolex Caliber 3035 with 27 jewels and adjusted to 5 positions
and temperature. - This is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer movement.
Quick set date (first time on a Sea Dweller) - 40mm in diameter ...
excluding the crown.

Comes on a NATO strap Only !
