New Rolex Needs Service
Hello, this is my first post as I am a new Rolex owner. Initially I was very happy with my silver dial 11600 Oyster Perpetual that I bought on April 4. However, I recently noticed that it is gaining 20 - 30 secs. a day and found that a bit distressing. I popped into the AD near my office (not the AD where I bought it) and asked if it could be magnetized, the watch was given to the watchmaker and he timed it, demagnetized it, and timed it again. When I got it back I was told that it was not magnetized but was not running the way they would expect it to. She said that it needs to be sent to RSC NY. I didn't have the warranty card with me, so couldn't have it sent today, but figured I would just go to the AD where I bought it over the weekend and have them deal with it. I am not sure that I have a question here, just feeling bummed that my new watch is going to have to be sent away for several weeks. Any thoughts here? Thanks for listening.

I can understand your disappointment, but stuff happens... We all prefer that it happens to somebody else.. The RSC will put it right..
