Should I get one with the older 3185 movement or pay the premium and get one with the newer 3186 movement? I think the premium is around $750-$1k depending on the year of the older one. Please elaborate your reasoning if you don't mind. Thanks guys.

It's not a premium for the movement, or at least it shouldn't be. It is a price difference because the 3186 movement models are newer. That's pretty much how it is with every model.
