Help me Date/Value vintage Pepsi GMT
I had a client in the other day that had an all original Pepsi GMT. I was wearing my BLNR so we hit it off well. Story goes, he was a pilot in WWII and purchased the watch in Hong Kong he thinks it was in the early sixties for $108! I noticed it featured a Jubilee braclet, had only the word "Swiss" at the bottom of the dial, and appeared to have El Cornino characterictics. We were trying to determine the exact year and current market value, and told him I was a member of this Forum and he asked me to snap a picture and inquire for more expertise. I will share any thoughts or comments with him from your replies. I am not that familar with vintage watches. Thanks in advance.

Excellent story!
The serial number is between the lugs at the 6 o'clock. That will give you the approximate date of production. |

+1 And hands have been changed as well as bezel insert. Hour plots have a look of being relumed but need good close up of dial to be sure its correct. Shot of crown guards as well as should be Pointed crown guard with a chapter ring dial.

SN likely between 860-960k 1963. PCG, beautiful original GILT chapter ring dial, probably close to $20k i'd imagine. If it isn't relumed.

It's an early 1675 with a gilt chapter ring dial. The bezel insert is a later replacement and the case has been polished in the past, however still looks to be quite fat. Also, the GMT hand is a later replacement, as from the factory these were fitted with 'mini' GMT hands. The overall value will depend heavily on the condition of the gilt gloss dial.

my favorite rolex are sub and gmt, i must say this is a cool 1675 vintage circa '62 - '65 with a price range from $10k and if its good condition might fetch to $15k.
