First foray into Blancpain (Bathyscaphe Ceramic Chrono content)
Been back and forth with what I wanted to do with the collection and decided to trade up from a couple pieces and pick up a watch nice been lusting over ever since it was released a year and a half ago - The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph in Ceramic. I'm in love and really believe this watch ties modern materials with an innovative movement and terrific styling as good or better than anything else at its price point. I've owned some pretty awesome pieces and this ranks right up there with the best. Can't wait to try some new strap combos and change the look up. I'm smitten!

Love this piece. I tried it on for the first time two weeks ago, and I was really smitten by it. It checks all the boxes, including a stellar in-house chronograph, although the price is quite high...
Congrats on the purchase! |

congrats! I own the SS version with the sailcloth and nato strap. The watch has slowly become my favorite in my collection. Which is actually a good thing. It just continued to grow on me. Usually, I'm enamored by a watch initially and then the fascination dies quickly.

Congrats! Great watch. If it wasn't so close to the DSOM that I have I would have also jumped on it. I really like the blue version too. And the movement is quite special. Enjoy.

Probably not the one, but there was the same one for sale here. Almost bought it. I was this close. Ended up with the BP FF Bathyscaphe. DSW got the BP for me, brand new. I sold a SD4000 to get the BP. That ceramic chrono is freaking awesome.

Thanks! It actually was the one for sale here. I made a 2-for-1 trade for it. I'm absolutely in love with it and it's everything I'd hoped it'd be and then some. I was between either selling one piece and going with the DSOTM or going with what I really wanted and sacrificing two pieces and I think I made the right decision for me.
