FS: Rolex 16520 Daytona S Serial Zenith Mvmt. Black Dial w/ Patina Subdials
FS: Up for sale is the legendary and hard-to-find Rolex ref 16520 Daytona Cosmograph black dial with Zenith El Primero base caliber 400 (Rolex 4030) movement. S5692xx serial dating to 1993. Watch is in very good condition with signs of normal wear but no dings or dents. Gorgeous original black dial with subdials changing color to a beautiful darker, creamy shade. New flawless OEM bezel installed but original bezel is included. No service history but winding and running smoothly and accurately. Chrono functions operate and zero-up correctly except the sweep seconds hand seems to settle ever-so-slightly left of center. Serial and model numbers clearly engraved between the lugs. Original 78390/503B bracelet with 13 total links and T2 clasp in good condition with minimal stretch but showing a good deal of hairlines and desk-diving wear. I acquired this great piece as watch-only but subsequently added some period-correct accessories which I will include: double box set, Daytona booklet (4.1988), Your Rolex booklet (9.1994), hang tags, 1993/1994 calendar with wallet, and Translation Booklet (6.1996).
Asking $11,850 USD including shipping in the CONUS. International shipping will be considered at my discretion with spotless references and buyer paying full shipping and insurance costs. Payment by bank wire transfer. I have numerous references on multiple watch forums I will ask for yours if I dont know you. The watch and I are located in Chicago. Sorry, no trades on this beauty. Questions are welcome - just PM me. Thanks for looking. |
