Impatiently waiting for my new Sub to arrive....
Sitting here in the front window, like a squirrel, waiting for that infamous truck to pull up and bless me with a new Rolex....
Its killing me! Maybe I should have a screwdriver..... |

Well I officially waited alomost 10 years to finally take the plunge and get my handsome little darling, but after dropping the cash.....I waited 5 weeks for it to arrive (I was between the old and new model with the chapter ring and the PRICE INCREASE hehe), and at Rolexes' mercy. However I got my watch and wore it for 3 days only to discover a small white spec on the dial and then another 2 days a small piece of fuzz showed himself under the crystal. want to talk about disappointment!! My AD sent it in and 3 weeks later shes back on my wrist spotless and perfect! They also said that they had never seen this happen on any new Rolexes in their experience......if it's going to happen, it's going to be me ANYWAY, you are going to love it and I haven't stopped staring at mine yet. I look like a goober admiring it all the time constantly wiping away any bit of fuzz, dust, or lint from the crystal to keep it looking like a mirror

Well, the postman came, no watch. He said UPSP overnight should be here before three. I was so excited I whipped open the door and scared him half to death. Imagine a 6'6" smile coming at ya. LOL
harvey.eu I picked up a BNIB Z series Sub Date with RBR from an AD in State College, PA. I am really excited because I had to sell my GMT Master II Ceramic to fund my house purchase, and now that I'm moved in things are getting back to normal. Or, my version of normal... anyway... Will post pics, you can count on that. |

clarence, i would have done the same... i would much prefer the sub date over the gmt IIc. i just cant get passed those shiny centre links. what was your experience with them? did they scratch as easily and as much as those shown in pics on this forum?

I had polished center links on my IWC GST auto alarm and they didn't wear well either. Its really to be expected. I wonder if platinum does the same, I assume is should hold up better?? I think I will be very happy with my new Sub, as I wear a watch 24/7/365, and could not stand to do that to my GMT II C. |
