His original speedy (the one he wore on the moon) was stolen, maybe he thinks if he wears all his watches at once, he'll never have one stolen again.

I get it. I respect the man as well. It's amazing what he and Collins and Armstrong did. I'm NASA's biggest fan boy and think their budget should be much larger. That doesn't change the fact that 99.9999999 percent of people on the planet are going to look at you strangely for wearing two watches and thinking you look like an idiot. It's not functional or necessary so why do it? I don't really care that he chooses to wear teenie-bopper bracelets. But they look silly on a man his age. And I think most people would agree. We all have earned the right to wear what we want but with that we also should expect to be ridiculed if those choices are in fact ridiculous. On Earth, wearing two watches at once is just that.

Wait, we didn't go to the moon? It's all a story, a hoax, a fib? Oh my gosh, that means DavidSW probably sold me a fake Explorer II...

Let's not forget Chuck Yaeger et al, who began to make it all possible. BTW, why hasn't some company had the foresight to make an X-1 watch as tribute to Yaeger's breaking of the sound barrier? Or have they? |

I met Tom Stafford, who was super-cool by the way, but never Buzz.
He seems like quite a charecter! I also sort of like the idea of a shared bracelet with two heads on it. Straight from the department of redundancy department! You damn sure BETTER not be late for your next meeting! |

The Apollo guys were just cool, with vettes, Rolex's and Speedy's how could they not be. I hope I am half as active as Buzz when I get in my 80's. He is all over the world most of the time from the looks of his Facebook Page.

Was just about to post this; guy can still throw a good punch.
I guess if you are going to get punched, getting one from Buzz is a pretty cool story.
