I am thinking of purchasing a Zenith Captain Day,Date,Month. Does anyone have any thoughts please ?

Very nice! I like the shape of the pushers and the blue in the dial. I think zenith is way under appreciated

The watch has a lot going on and great value compared to the other makes. but will it be seen as 2nd class ? I dont think so but...

It's a very sensible, straightforward honest timepiece. It may be an experiment for you but many have tried Zenith and been quite pleased.

I love the design of this watch, but if I remember correctly, it is like 45mm and 15mm thick. So it's a little bigger than what I would want.
If I am wrong, please correct me! It will make my short list if so.

Put it on your list. The case is 42mm dia, not sure on the thickness but I dont think it is near 15mm

Zenith is a great watch with a lot of heritage. The Captain kind with the El Primero movement is a lot of bang for the buck, especially when you consider the complications the Winsor includes.
