Ending a viewing at AD

How do you end a session at AD?
Especially when the sales is pulling you back

I would consider the offer

I am confused and need to go

I will be back another day

If you are ready to buy make them an offer at the price you think is good. If you can't agree say, no problem thank you for your time.

If you aren't ready to buy: thank you for showing me these pieces today, I'm going to think it over, may I have your card.

Say you'll take the piece(s) at full price. Pat your pants front, look perplexed and say you forgot your wallet and just have to run out to your car. Hustle out and never come back.

Say, "Thanks, but I'm buying from a TRF trusted seller."

Tell them you are going to be late for your appointment at their competitor's store…

Seriously I generally thank them for their time. I usually say up front that I am not in a position to purchase anything at the moment and just looking. THey can decide if they want to spend time with me or not. I have made some good relationships with that tact. HOwever, I have one salesperson who always latches onto me if i go into their store and he won't leave my side. Even if i tell him i am not buying anything now-- he shows me stuff -- even if i don't necessarily want to see it and then tries to talk me into making a deal…. DOnt like that type of sales tact

In all seriousness, I always say that I never buy on a first viewing and will see if the watch sticks with me for a few days, which is true.

Forgive me for stating the obvious but I always lead with "is there room for price consideration on this piece if I buy today?" But ONLY when I am 100 percent ready to pull the trigger. Never discuss price for the hell of it. Only fair to do so if you have a number and are serious about it

I would just thank them and let them know you need to think it over further

I would not be a buyer first day generally. Unless it is a hot piece that wont be around like my Aquanaut.

This is almost verbatim to what I say.

I ask for a card and simple say thank you for the time.

Now when they pull out the big guns that I can't afford I tell them straight out that it's not going to happen but most I've met don't mind and still insisting I try on the PP, AP, Platinum Rolex, etc. Fun times.

Couldn't have said it any better.

This is perfect... If they don't accept your offer, run back to TRF and talk to the trusted sellers and see what they can do for u.
