there is a new daydate 40 released for 2015... im scared. will the value of my day date II plummet??

As fellow owners of DD2 I can tell you that I'm not concerned at all about the value. IMO it will not go down, if anything secondhand DD2 may go up in value.

Those who want to buy BNIB watch will not buy pre-loved, vice versa. And there won't be many pre-loved DD40 in the near future. Even after a while, there's always a market for larger day date (I meant anything bigger than 36mm)

In fact, I hope Rolex really discontinues the DD2, that will stop the supply side and it will make DD2 becoming more exclusive.
