New sub

Hello, I'm new around here so please be kind. I've been fortunate enough to recently buy a new Sub - which I love - and there a couple of issues I didn't expect to find.

1. The bezel has a small amount of play between clicks, maybe I'm just being anal, but this means the 12 O' clock arrow on the bezel isn't always aligned to 12 O' clock, it's sometimes between minutes if it's nudged.

2. I've noticed a little scratch developing on the link where the bracelet fits inside the clasp. Again, not the end of the world by any means but I wasn't expected that to happen.

Anyone else found the same??

It the sub you bought has a ceramic insert there will be a tiny bit of lateral play, its because it sits on 3 spring-loaded ball-bearing and spring loaded click stop. And the only place the bezel has to line up with is to wherever the minute hand is on the dial to time something. The bezel is not meant to be permanently fixed within a cats whisker of the 12 marker and the scratch is normal its caused by friction as the bracelet flexes on the wrist while wearing.Welcome to TRF.

Your local RSC should be able to fix while you wait. I was just at RSC Dallas last week for the same issue. I was in and out within one hour.

I don't live anywhere near a RSC unfortunately so I'll probably just wait for the service. Thanks for the advice though.

Congratulations, it's a great piece to own. As for the bezel alignment you can always have it corrected at RSC if it bothers you.
