1970's Tudor snowflake 9411/0 Help Needed

In my quest to get my first vintage Tudor, found another snowflake that is available for sale, watch head only. Seller claims that there's no corrosion on the movement.
However, there's some green spots on the dial that I'm guessing could be mold?
Need your expert opinions again this time to verify it firstly, and advise if I should go ahead with it if it's priced slightly lower than a late 90's 14060

Dial rot but some moisture may well have gotten in there...

I have an original blue dial in my collection- similar but not as bad:

My pic does not show the 'blisters' well, but they're there.... I won't take it out of the bag due to fragility.

I notice you have some bits of dial stuck to the crystal so if you buy this, make sure you budget a full movement overhaul STAT!

Color looks like copper sulfite too... Maybe that was part of the pigment, but these dials are famous for rotting (and being replaced by Rolex). Original dials like this are rare in the wild now.

Wow. What a perfect looking dial u got there. How much would you value this watch personally?

No bracelet and the wear appears "honest" to me- not artificial ageing of a "new" case.

Hands look good- can't tell if the date wheel is silver or white (It should be silver).

Insert looks lovely.

Assuming the movement is correct and intact (should be a 2784 with a TUDOR stamped main plate (under the dial). The rotors are all over eBay for $50 so NEVER go by that.

I'd say maybe $4000 these days? Maybe less? Lack of bracelet, poor dial condition and assumed full service needed could make my estimate a bit high; however if I saw anything higher than that I'd laugh out loud and move on.

Of course full box and papers could shore up the value but I assume that is long gone.

That's lovely. Ensure that you also assess and visually inspect its movement.

The dial may deteriorate further but hopefully should remain intact for years to come with good care. As you may know the dial is a major aspect to any watches' value and should be taken into consideration for the future of this watch.

Thx for the thorough analysis. Date wheel seems like a creamy white, would that be a replica/replacement then?
Box papers bracelet missing. I'm just more concerned that the dial could just rot at a rate so fast that I have to seek for replacement dial sooner than I hope.

That dial scares me a bit. I fully believe it to be genuine and original to the watch but it is very unstable. I suspect it will continue to deteriorate.

Mine has blistering, but is far more stable (and still very delicate!).

The OP's watch with my dial would be absolute heaven!

You cannot assess the date wheel color via photos.

Mine, held in my hand, I can't tell f it's white or silver.

I have to use a loupe and get the light to reflect off the wheel to see it is lightly brushed silver. VERY difficult to see.

From what I learned here, ALL 9411's have a silver date wheel. It probably is silver.

I think that watch has never had a single service since new.

Case looks untouched; 700 crown; insert appears original; dial is really bad... If the price was right I'd be interested but would be swapping my dial on right away (plus full and extensive movement service).*

$500-$1000 depending on buyer and seller. It is not for sale if that's what your getting at... (and against rules to deal outside the sales threads)

Seems like a fair assessment. Ahh now at least I have a rough idea on the final cost it would incur.

Well, finding an original blue dial is another problem all together... Paying for it is the easy part.
