Really like the balance of the SD but the dial looked off to me, looked brownish in sum light

Congrats nd enjoy
First of all, a big congratulations to the OP on a great choice! im definitely loving mine more every time I wear it.

I visited a couple of AD's and initially decided not to purchase the SD but I realized the lighting in both stores wasn't providing an accurate portrayal. Once I saw the watch in natural lighting the look (to me) was very different. The dial really doesn't look brownish to me at all.

The more I see this watch, the more I'm starting to lust after one. OP, those black and white shots are amazing. Congrats on a great choice
