Milgauss Caseback

I don't need to sell you on this reference. You either enjoy it, or you don't. For me it's a stunner. Especially my z-blue.

Another detail that I appreciate is the engraving on the caseback. It is a small detail, but one known to the wearer, and not the "viewing public." Makes me grin even more when I put it on.

Cheers

Yes, I love my two.

Wonder why they have it on this watch and not others?

It is a fine detail I believe shared by only the SD & DSSD in the Rolex line up

I am a huge Milgauss fan. My one and only Rolex is a white Milgauss. I hope to add one or two more to my collection, but if I do it will be a while. If my collection is only my Milgauss I'll be perfectly happy. I completely agree that the text on the back is really cool. Although nobody will ever see it while I'm wearing it, I still love it.

The Z-blue is pretty much my favorite Rolex, but it was just a bit out of my price range. That is one stunning dial. Having said that, I don't think I could be any happier with my white Milgauss.

Cheers to you, another avid Milgauss fan. That white dial pops.

I love my white dial, I got it for my birthday last month and I love it as it is very different to all my other rolex watches. Also love that it is very stealth.

I had totally forgot about how the Milgauss back is designed, I've been wearing a Milgauss GV for over 5 years, and it's been probably that long that I looked closely at the case back, it's quite lovely.

Thanks for the reminder.

I think the best way to put it is the Milgauss enjoys a strong cult following. It's not the first choice for many, but those that like them tend to be pretty passionate about them.

A truly unique piece. Like you've mentioned, its either hate it or love it watch. But the Milgauss has a strong following strangely. I haven't noticed the back piece until just now lol. Thanks for the reminder.

Don't agree with either loving it or hating it. I had the White version twice, the black dial once, and the Green GV. I love many things about the watch, but again I'll say it....I wasn't in love with the lightening bolt seconds hand. So given that, I ended up simply "liking" the watch.

I also think the writing on the back is a heads up to the watchmaker opening the case back, that there's gonna be another case back to open after the first one.

You purchased the same watch is different variants 4 times and you didn't love it?

Does anyone have a pic of the inner caseback? I've seen the black & white schematic, but not an actual pic.

Its used to be on some Rolex ladies models and even on the Tudor ladies with oyster cases.

Love the fit and feel! But ultimately purchased at a good price with intentions of flipping!
