Tiffany's Rolex

I know I just saw a thread about a Rolex with the Tiffany logo, well one popped up in ebay...

Tiffany marked Rolexs are not particularly rare, but fakes do abound (not saying that one is).

This dealer seems to have a bunch right now,

I have a question about this. If the seller agreed to have this item sent to an RSC before payment to verify, would they also verify the dial as being proper? Or would they just try and swap the dial?

Since the records for real Tiffany co-branded Rolex watches are hard to find, even RSC would not bother doing that research, imho.

If the dial turns out to be real (by other inspection by RSC than that of records), an official RSC would probably not touch the dial, at all, to avoid damage. If found counterfeit, the dial would be confiscated and a dial to specifications would be installed, at your cost.

The Cartier co-branded watches are much easier to identify as being real or not since the underside of the lugs would be stamped "Cartier" and records are availible.

Personally, I would not touch the one you saw on eBay.

Going slightly off topic, but isnt that bezel an engine turn and not the fluted, the one pictured doesnt seem wave like to be the fluted?? Anyone agree?
