Looks good to me. That's a pre-tiger right? Mine said hello.

Different case back, mine is later production.

And in Prague

I blame it on the autoconnect.

Can't see anything that sticks out as unauthentic.
Good luck!

No. I had a very similar 79280, except mine had an Oysterdate dial. This reference was the transformation from Rolex attributes to Tudor (crown, case back, and Oysterdate dial) and you can find examples of all Rolex to all Tudor, and everything in between.

IMHO, everything looks legit for the reference.

Good for you. These are my favorite chronographs and I think you will be very happy when that beauty is strapped to your wrist.

Does is come with a bracelet? They can be very hard to source. If not, strap adventures should keep you busy for a while.

No bracelet but at $1600 for the head, I feel im safe even if I have to pay up for an oyster. I have a nice suede hodinkee style band this will look great on. What is going price for a correct oyster?

Agreed. Haven't priced one lately but I would guess about $700.00 or so. Make sure to get the 604 end links [even harder to come by] made for the thicker Oyster case. 589 Big Block end links should work also.

Straps will look great as well.

When you can find them the correct oyster will run you $800-$1000.

It'll look great on the hodinkee style strap, but even though it's a pretty good price for the head if it needs a service it gets expensive with the 7750 @$800.

You can find independent watchmakers that will service for less than that. My watchmaker, w/ Rolex parts account, would charge less than half that.

That is a beauty, mate!

I'm a sucker for silver dials, especially with black subs. And since we're showing pics...............

Mine says "hello" even if it has a wanker's name on it.

well, i received the watch today. a very pretty watch. i was a little surprised how large it wears. i have been wearing my 36mm 1600 lately, so that could be part of it, but it definitely wears a lot larger than a 6263/6265--which isnt surprising. dying to see what it looks like on an oyster---may have to wait a while for that though!

Looks great, my friend!

With all these pics I just might have to wear mine when I return home today.
