ROO 26400SO itch
Recently tried on the AP ROO 26400SO, Stainless steel with ceramic bezel and can't get it out of my head!
One of those watches that just look so much better in the flesh than in photos. Considering trading my deepsea and planet ocean plus cash for one. Can any owner comment on this model? What does a service cost? Thanks

Wearing mine now. Absolutely love it and still think it's the best watch purchase decision I've ever made. Very versatile and very very good looking piece.

Service usually goes for around $1,500-$1,600, depending on if you send it straight to Clearwater or through an AD.
Awesome watch, one of my fraternity bros might get it this Christmas! |

Go for it. I think it is the best looking 44 mm ROO as far as I'm concerned.

Really love the clean open look of the white dial. Have the gold and plat versions but have been often tempted by the SS. Go for it!

I was in your shoes, after I tried one on, I just had to have it. The trade you are considering is worth it in my opinion. It is a fun watch.

I have a blue Deepsea and had a black one, and love(d) them both.
And I think the Planet Oceans are great watches (chrono's and non-chrono's, see or ti). But AP makes watches a cut above Rolex and Omega in terms of details, finishing, etc. The dial on that steel 44mm is mesmerizing. It's a heavy, thick watch, and top heavy on a strap, but you'll be fine if you didn't have any issues with the DSSD or PO. Go for it! |

Thanks everyone. Your comments and photos have just magnified an already considerable itch !!! I just need to get my head around the value differential as I still need to add $10k to the trade value of the two watches.
But I have been thinking about shrinking the collection for quality over quantity. So perhaps the BLNR and DJII stay along with the steelfish for a beater and add the IWC to the DSSD and PO for the trade. This would leave me with two watches for th offce and two for the weekend. What do you reckon?
