If the watch was still running fine, this would be my ticket to wear the shit out if it from now on until the first service then have everything cleaned up then. That first scratch/ding/scrape always hurts - sometimes literally - but it opens the door to not have to worry about babying it anymore. Real reason I love my vintage pieces so much because they have plenty of "character" already...

Ouch, that sounds painful, both the fall and what happened to the watch. Best of luck

Well you can injure yourself and your watch on a bicycle as well, no need for a motor to do that I may be wrong and it might have been a bicycle and not a motorbike, when I fell in Thailand it was a motorbike, having 25 years of bikes behind me I decided to take turns making it go sideways, thing I perfectly do when I am not drunk, thing I absolutely do not recommend beginners to do, but I was drunk and didn't calculate very good as on the 3rd turn I went too far and the wheels touched the sidewalk, making me fly and roll on myself 4 or 5 times, apart the scratches on me and the watch bracelet I was fine...

Back from APSC

Clearwater is amazing. 2 week turn around is far less than expected.

Awesome, it looks great, am I seeing right and is it on a grey strap or is it a visual effect of the picture? In any case great that it was so quick and that it looks like new

Looking at the screws it may have been polished and laser welded?

The screws don't really appear damaged. It's "just" the one section of the bezel. I'm interested to know if it was replaced or polished. I'm thinking repaired and polished?

Thinking the same. Looks as if the screws are actually above the bezel...

In that case I would complain and ask them to change the bezel itself, as it basically removes any possibility of removing future scratches to the bezel itself.

Thanks for noticing the screws on the bezel. To be honest I didn't catch that at all. However talk to APSC in Clearwater and it's going back for bezel to replaced at there cost.
