New to AP

Looking to purchase my first AP. I like the ROC black dial, ROC Off Shore Safari and the ROC Diver.

Any recommendations fir first AP?

Can't go wrong with ANY of those.

I'd vote for the Diver. Great all around piece. It's what I wear daily.

To me it's got the classic Genta Royal Oak 'look' to the eye---as well as a sporty look of an Offshore...(with the rubber accents)

My first AP was the blue dial 15400. Love it, won't part with it, but the AP diver, which was my 2nd AP and most recent acquisition, is my new favorite, and most often daily wearer out of my entire collection, which includes several Rolexes I like very much as well...

The pictures of the Diver with the stainless steel bracelet look fantastic.

Really you like the diver more than the 15400? Could you explain why? Feel of it on the wirst? More pleasing to the eye? Explain. I want to get a blue dial 15400 and I personally don't like the AP divers so I'm surprise to hear that someone prefers the Diver over the blue 15400 and I just want to get why so I don't make a mistake on my next purchase which would be that.

I love them both and as I mentioned before, I won't part with either. But.. I dont think you can't go wrong with either.

My personal reason I wear the diver more since I just recently got it (aside from the fact that its my newest aquisition), is that I think the 15400 blue is more on the dressy side (it goes either way - sport or dress), while the diver is more toward the pure sporty side and casual side.

I realized only after owning quite a few watches that my personal taste and style leans more toward the sporty.

ROC for me out of those choices. Can be worn both dress and casual.

I'd definitely take into account what 'look' your going for initially, be it more dressy or sporty - as well as what other pieces are in your collection.

It's pretty easy to 'dress up' a sporty piece...such as a Diver.

That might help you decide on the AP.

I'll tell you though. Once you try one...you'll want them ALL.

Can't go wrong with any of the choices. My pick of the 3 you mentioned would be the ROC black dial. However, if you had asked me 6-7 years ago I would've chosen a ROO, and I did in the past. Had a Safari as my first AP, but have moved towards less bulky timepieces so I now have the ROC instead. Try em on and see what sticks. Good luck!

You can't go wrong with any of those you should also try the grey dial ROO or a white dial diver if those models aren't for you i would recommend the ROC not the offshore or the RO 15400 if you want to skip all of these and just to the trendiest AP currently its the ROO 44mm novelties

All three of them are good choices. Can't go wrong with any. Best to try them at an AD and choose the one that sings to you the most.

Yup, I'm in the same boat, it's a very difficult watch to remove from the wrist!

Diver on bracelet would be my 1st choice, then the ROC.
