15202 bracelet comfort relative to 15400
In the past I owned a 15300 and the fit was always wrong, one link made it either a bit tight or to loose.
I then "upgraded" (not sure it was an upgrade to be honest) to a 15400 and the same happened, I even bought a 1.5 link and it didn't help all that much. So now I am considering the upgrade (pretty sure it is an upgrade) to the 15202, but I am concerned that the same will happen. I really like the RO, especially the bracelet, but I wonder if I should just go elsewhere or get the 15202. Has anybody had both 15202 and 15400 or 15300 and had this problem?

The length on every royal oak comes standard unless they person selling has changed it i tried the 15400 numerous times, owned a 15300 and now waiting on my jumbo. All i can say is the jumbo has a slimmer bracelet (thickness wise) but the standard length should be the same

I've posted before on my frustration with my Jumbo bracelet. I love the watch to bits but getting the bracelet just right is impossible for me. I've settled on having it snug rather than loose but, even with the 1.5 link, I can't get a perfect fit. Rolex Glidelock and other adjustable bracelets have ruined non-adjustable bracelets for me. :-(

The jumbo fit me very comfortable, however I did notice relative to Patek 5711 and Rolex, stock with all links included, the fit was just a tiny bit tighter.
I recall a member recently saying the half link was not actually half, but a bit less.

The Jumbo's lugs take a slightly different angle than the 15400, so maybe that will help give you a better fit.

Problem is when it gets hot or humid, it gets really uncomfortable. Seems like I'm gonna hace to get it sized before I buy and then decide. It's a shame that I always resort to my other watches because of the fit. A shame fir the 15400, let alone a 15202. Is the 5711 any better? Seems like there is no adjustment at all on that bracelet as well.

This is the 2nd thread about this in the last two days?
How do I go get a 15400 fitted at an AD to make sure I like it and not buy it there. I feel embarrassed to ask them knowing I won't buy it there and probably get it from DavidSW on here. What should I do? |

I have a small wrist and when I tried the 15202 the bracelet looked very funny and I honestly hated the watch on my wrist. The bracelet seems very stiff on the sides and doesn't take the shape of the wrist. Whereas when putting on the 15400, I loved the way the bracelet took the shape of my wrist and although the 15400 is bigger than the 15202 it looked much better on my small wrist. I don't know in your situation if the 15202 will work better but I think you should try it on before buying it! Good luck

But overall the fir was better in the smaller 15300. Seriously considering just looking elsewhere, a 5711 would entail trading the 15400 plus another watch to get me closer to the price, the PAM000 is getting scared....

The 15400 is a bigger watch, but doesn't wear big. I have 9 links on each side and hugs my wrist perfectly. |
