Scratched my ap...

After about 2 weeks of ownership... Got my first scratch. It being my first AP watch, I am infuriated and sad.
But what's happened already happened. Any way to remedy this? Sorry I am new to high end watches. It is a very light and small scratch, not even visible unless seen at the right angle. I googled and found cape cod polish. Is this a yay or nay for the 26320?

Cape cod cloth works only on polished surfaces, it will ruin the satin finish.

NO! Do NOT ever let anyone, even yourself, polish your AP except for APSC.

Also if you polish it too much, you are going to destroy the sharp lines in the case and eventually just ruin the integrity of the case.

Just learn to live with them, scratches are inevitable.

Glad I asked first. Thanks guys! I knew they were inevitable but didn't think I'd get them that early

Leave it alone, I know it hurts, but it is character building.

Like everyone said....do NOT touch it! It's just a watch. Wear it and enjoy it. You will get plenty more scratches and dents. APSC can make it look like new at service time.

Scratched my ap...

Scratches will happen. The first scratch always hurts the most. The anger and sadness will pass. Big picture, you have an awesome watch.

Enjoy your AP!

Interesting you posted this. I just posted something similliar a few minutes ago. One thing I can tell you is that AP will be more than happy to fix a scratch for you. They just offered to do that for me when I sent mine in for its pressure test. I would agree with the other forum members, don't do it yourself!

This...

We all KNOW it hurts...but watches are meant to be worn and enjoyed.

It'll pass...

It sucks but I would hold off on any polishing until it needs a service, if even then

Keep using it, the first 5 scratches hurt. Wear it proud, no one cares about scratches except yourself. No point in having it polished for every scratch, that's just mental. Get on with your life and have it polished when serviced.

O man O.O looks like an abstract artist had some fun with the watch. Yeah I read it was easily scratched and even saw the employee of a boutique show me his scratch only wearing at work 3 months in.

The first few scratches are like when your kid fall for the first time and u can help but be sad

Thanks for the replies guys :)

It happens, at first you're like but then after a short time you get over it.
