Thanks, I had'nt seen that other listing which differs to his Ebay account address. I had pm'd him and he wanted £4100 which i countered with a substantially less amount to which he then dropped to £2700 bank transfer.

Now I'm old enough to know that good deals do happen but that in UK terms is a very good deal for an 116234, hmm!

Yes sounds like a scam to me, a seller will never drop price that much that easy

Well the listing has ended so I presume someone braver than me pulled the trigger.

I hope it works out well for them, and it may well do, but not being convinced either way, there was no way that I could take it further.

Don't like the pricing. The watch looks real but I don't think the transaction will be smooth.

Ebay messaged me saying that the sellers account had been being used without the owners permission. Ebay obviously read the message exchange between me and the " seller" and advised what to do if i had been the victim of fraud, phew how easy it could be to get sucked in.

Be careful out there.
