Vacheron Constantin Quai de l’Ile Opinions

Are there any owners of the Vacheron Constantin Quai de l’Ile ? I love the look and find this watch to be a cross between sports and dress.. particularly considering two straps are included. It's likely beyond my price range, but I am intrigued by this model.. but for the money, you could buy a Patrimony.. which has far better resale.. or even a Callatrava 2ndhand. In any case, I am liking the Vacheron Constantin Quai de l’Ile more and more each time I see pictures of it. I've not seen such a model in person. I prefer the simpler titanium, non-gold versions of this model.

It is an interesting concept to configure your watch, if some part of the case gets damaged you only need to replace that part. I like the sculptured profile, on the other hand the WR is weak, 100 meters would complement the look better. I don't know why you are comparing it to a Calatrava, they have nothing in common.

I tried one on here in Dallas a few weeks back; I'll post a picture of it tonight.

I have not seen it in person but customization options are superb. However, it doesn't have chronograph option but rather have annual calendar. That's my fave model in Vacheron Constantin models though
