Jaquet Droz consensus
I have been considering a purchase of a Jaquet Droz Grande Second and I wanted to know what the TRF consensus on the brand was. Any input would be appreciated.

I have liked the look of something like many of the smaller players resales is something to think about of buying from an AD even with a big discount.

I inspected and perused at the movement of two models made by the brand. The watches being stainless steel felt too heavy almost as heavy as platinum. It's movement was something like from A Lange Sohne. This is how it was decorated and filled with the parts.
Blancpain per se felt too cheap in comparison with the JACQUET Droz's movement and I hold a high esteem to Blancpain However, on downside unlike Blancpain, JACQUET Droz's movement don't feature flyback, ratrapante just plain chronograph
